about the webmaster (wip)

hello! i go by azalea online. i am a black caribbean american lesbian furry girl critter princess born and raised on the east coast. ive created this website to have a home on the internet outside of social media. im not very good at coding though so most of the things here are a mishmash of templates and resources ive found and catered to my liking. we love customization! i dont intend to stay on neocities forever, so hopefully ill get a good grasp of things with experience.

i really enjoy good stories and narrative heavy creations, such as visual novels. im not picky either! i am a softie that is easy to please, so i tend to enjoy most stories i read. (at least to some degree... :3) my favorite stories tend to center black characters, furries, and/or abused/traumatized women either going through the motions or recovering from them. my goal is to create lots of stories with these things.

i love to draw and ive been drawing for a very long time, but only started digitally drawing in 2016. i use clip studio paint to draw but occasionally i will use other programs such as paint 3d or aseprite. i love drawing my ocs and other people's ocs, but i will also do fanart if im fond of a specific title or series.

i strongly value compassion towards all people and especially to other queer people. i am anti-censorship and believe in free-expression.

i enjoy reading books. i like memoirs, poetry, essay collections, books on leftist topics, and sci-fi and fantasy novels. my favorite book is zami by audre lorde.
